Masjid India is one of the city’s oldest mosques, and is considered a prime tourist sight. Located right within KL’s established commercial centre, as a house of worship its doors are opened not only to local Muslim communities, but also to foreign guests. Since a majority of its worshippers are of Tamil Muslim origin, thus the Khutbah on Friday is delivered in Tamil.
